You Will Rise Again

This message was inspired by Archbishop Duncan Williams

Beloved, I stand before you today to remind you of a powerful truth—You will rise again! No matter the storms, no matter the setbacks, no matter the trials you are facing, God has not forgotten you. Archbishop Duncan Williams often reminds us that in our lowest moments, when everything seems lost, the hand of God is right there, lifting us up.

The Bible assures us that "though a righteous man falls seven times, he will rise again" (Proverbs 24:16). You may have fallen, you may have stumbled, but God’s word is clear: You will rise again! In your moments of darkness, when you feel isolated and forsaken, remember that "when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light" (Micah 7:8).

Just like Paul in Acts 27, who was caught in a storm, surrounded by chaos and confusion, you may feel that all hope is lost. Yet, in the midst of his crisis, God sent an angel to reassure him, saying, "Do not be afraid, Paul. You will stand before Caesar" (Acts 27:24). That word is for you today—You will rise again.

Archbishop Duncan Williams teaches us that no matter the challenges we face, God’s promises are unshakable. When the enemy tries to defeat you with doubt, fear, or shame, remember that God is faithful. He will bring you through, and His plans for your life will come to pass. Your setbacks are not the end of your story; they are simply the setup for a greater comeback.

I encourage you today, no matter how far you feel you’ve fallen, to rise up and take heart. Repent for the times you’ve allowed doubt and despair to cloud your faith. Ask God for restoration and a renewed commitment to His will. Let your heart be filled with hope, knowing that the Lord has already made a way where there seems to be no way.

If you believe that God will bring you through, if you believe that you will rise again, I encourage you to say with me, "I will rise again!" Let today be the day you commit to God’s plan for your life and rise above every challenge.

Call to Repentance and Restoration:
Come to the Lord today, repent of your doubts, and commit yourself anew to His will. He is waiting to restore you, to lift you up, and to bring you into the victory He has promised.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
